The site is http://isharemaps.bathnes.gov.uk/ It holds information on local planning applications, road works and other current issues, all of which come up when you insert your postcode and much of it is displayed as a map. It may be useful if there is a local issue which you want to be informed about quickly. |

Avon Wildlife Trust needs help in Browns Folly |
|
The Trust is working with a local farmer to help graze the grassland area in Browns Folly woodland to keep the views across Bath open and maintain wildlife habitats. Local rare breed Wiltshire Horn sheep will be put into the small fenced area from the end of October until Spring to graze the site. The Trust would like to put together a volunteer team of ‘Stockwatchers’ to keep the sheep safe. If you walk the site regularly and want to report any observations or if you would like to join the Reserves Manager walking the area for a few hours in the day to talk to visitors then please contact the Trust by email or phone. The Trust is setting up a website with a blog that all ‘Stockwatchers’ can post on for everyone to see. If you are interested in helping please contact
